Making memories at the Big Nickel before kicking off an incredible weekend at the Sudbury Ukrainian Festival. 🇺🇦✨

There were many special moments at our Spring Recital, but one stands out above all the rest.

On May 30, Pani Olha Soluk took the stage with the Yavir School of Ukrainian Dance for her very first performance, carrying the traditional korovai in our welcome dance. She did so with grace, confidence, and immense pride in her Ukrainian heritage.

Pani Olha reminded us that our culture is kept alive not only through dance, but through the generations who embrace it, celebrate it, and pass it on. We are grateful that she shared this special moment with our Yavir family.
